My grandmother opened this place with one griddle, a hand mill, and a rule she never wrote down but never broke: nothing leaves the window that you wouldn't set in front of your own family.

Three generations later we still grind the masa here every morning, and the line out the door on a Saturday is the only advertising we have ever needed.
